Whose Hands Are You Placing Your Faith In?

Whose hands are you placing your faith in.... leads us to believe there are other hands reaching out for our faith as well, but what will become of our faith once placed in those hands? Let’s look at the obvious competitor… the enemy. The enemy’s plans for each of us is to steal, kill and destroy. The enemy would love to steal our faith, causing us to delay in fulfilling the plans of God that have been set before us. Leaving us in disobedience, discouragement and dismay. But do you know that sometimes our faith never leaves our own hands? Sometimes we have felt a nudging from the Holy Spirit, a whisper to do something, say something, to go or not go somewhere but instead of obeying we sit on it. We have just become another competitor in this silent auction - if you will- for our faith.

Faith is not based on how much you have but where you place it. The Word of God says, “if you have faith the size of a mustard seed”. A mustard seed is one of the tiniest seeds that produce one of the biggest trees. A mustard seed placed in God’s hands can move mountains. What is in the hands of the Father prospers. Where you place your faith will be exposed whether you are operating in faith or fear. When we hold on to our faith and do not do anything with it, meaning we never step out to do what we are being led to do in that moment, it exposes the fear we have, the lack of trust we have, as well as the lack of confidence we have. Fear will make you want to return to past habits, sin, friendships, surroundings just so you do not move forward in faith. Faith placed in anyone or anything other than God almighty is fear. By default, we are no longer walking in the ways and truth of God but in the flesh, revealing that we do not trust Him.

I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

Placing our faith in God can be intimidating and scary. I mean most times we are not even sure if we are hearing clearly, not to mention we have no idea what the outcome will look like. We don’t want to make a mistake or get it wrong. We do not want to fail ourselves, others or God, so we hold onto it to we are “really sure” but by then it might be too late. Stepping out in faith was never meant to be easy but trusting God that He will not bring you into failure, nor leave you in the process should be if you know the heart the Father has towards you.

Brothers and Sisters, God is a God that whatever we place in His hands He will make prosper. He will multiply and pour out in abundance. Placing our faith in His hands guarantees us that we will prosper, succeed and end in victory. Even small faith can produce great miracles. Faith in the hands of God places our feet on grounds we never thought we would stand. Amongst people we never thought that we were at their level. Placing our faith in God's hands and not the enemy allows our faith to grow and be stretched. Let your faith be big and bold because our God is big and mighty!  Don’t hold onto your faith, place it in God’s hands. You are loved.

¿En Manos De Quién Estás Depositando Tu Fe?

¿En manos de quién estás depositando tu fe? Esta pregunta nos lleva a creer que hay otras manos que también se extienden en busca de nuestra fe; pero, ¿qué será de nuestra fe una vez que la hayamos depositado en esas manos? Consideremos al competidor obvio: el enemigo. Los planes del enemigo para cada uno de nosotros son robar, matar y destruir. Al enemigo le encantaría robarnos la fe, provocando que nos demoremos en cumplir los planes de Dios que han sido puestos ante nosotros, dejándonos así en un estado de desobediencia, desánimo y consternación. Pero, ¿sabías que a veces nuestra fe nunca llega a salir de nuestras propias manos? En ocasiones hemos sentido un impulso del Espíritu Santo —un susurro para hacer algo, para decir algo, para ir o no ir a algún lugar—, pero, en lugar de obedecer, nos quedamos de brazos cruzados. Nos hemos convertido, sin más, en un competidor adicional en esta subasta silenciosa —si se quiere llamar así— por nuestra propia fe.

La fe no se basa en cuánto tienes, sino en dónde la depositas. La Palabra de Dios dice: «Si tuvieran fe del tamaño de una semilla de mostaza...». Una semilla de mostaza es una de las semillas más diminutas, pero produce uno de los árboles más grandes. Una semilla de mostaza puesta en las manos de Dios puede mover montañas. Todo lo que está en las manos del Padre prospera. El lugar donde depositas tu fe revelará si estás actuando por fe o por temor. Cuando nos aferramos a nuestra fe y no hacemos nada con ella —es decir, cuando nunca damos el paso para hacer aquello a lo que somos guiados en ese momento—, esto pone al descubierto el temor que albergamos, así como nuestra falta de confianza y de seguridad. El temor te hará desear regresar a viejos hábitos, al pecado, a amistades y a entornos del pasado, con tal de no avanzar en la fe. La fe depositada en cualquier persona o cosa que no sea Dios Todopoderoso es, en realidad, temor. Por defecto, dejamos de caminar en los caminos y en la verdad de Dios para caminar según la carne, revelando así que no confiamos en Él.

Por vuestra poca fe. De cierto os digo que si tenéis fe como un grano de mostaza, diréis a este monte: “Pásate de aquí allá”, y se pasará; y nada os será imposible.

Depositar nuestra fe en Dios puede resultar intimidante y atemorizante. Quiero decir, la mayoría de las veces ni siquiera estamos seguros de si estamos escuchando con claridad, por no mencionar que no tenemos ni idea de cuál será el resultado final. No queremos cometer un error ni equivocarnos. No queremos fallarnos a nosotros mismos, ni a los demás, ni a Dios; por eso nos aferramos a nuestra fe hasta estar «realmente seguros», pero para entonces podría ser demasiado tarde. Dar un paso de fe nunca tuvo la intención de ser fácil; sin embargo, confiar en Dios —sabiendo que Él no te conducirá al fracaso ni te abandonará en el proceso— debería ser algo natural si conoces el corazón que el Padre tiene hacia ti.

Hermanos y Hermanas, Dios es un Dios que hace prosperar todo aquello que ponemos en Sus manos. Él lo multiplicará y lo derramará en abundancia. Depositar nuestra fe en Sus manos nos garantiza que prosperaremos, tendremos éxito y terminaremos en victoria. Incluso una fe pequeña puede producir grandes milagros. La fe puesta en las manos de Dios coloca nuestros pies en terrenos donde nunca imaginamos que estaríamos; nos sitúa entre personas de cuyo nivel nunca pensamos que seríamos dignos. Depositar nuestra fe en las manos de Dios —y no en las del enemigo— permite que nuestra fe crezca y se expanda. ¡Que tu fe sea grande y audaz, porque nuestro Dios es grande y poderoso! No te aferres a tu fe; deposítala en las manos de Dios. Eres amado.
