Going Beyond Imagination

However, as it is written:

“What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” the things God has prepared for those who love him.

Brothers and Sisters, we serve a great God, don’t we? Our God is and has done marvelous things. Things too great for our minds to conceive and for our hearts to express. Our ears ring with testimonies of the earth and our eyes flood with tears as we see the hand of God move amongst His people. The mere existence of our God shakes the earth, the sound of His voice moves mountains, and the touch of His finger imprints His Word on our hearts. Our God is mighty and glorious; His love does not waver. His goodness to those who love Him never fails, for He holds them, establishing them in all His ways. Their feet are firmly planted, and they are deeply rooted in Him. Hallelujah!

God took His time, preparing His masterplan, and a plan for you and I. He paid careful attention to detail not to leave out one; everything is accounted for. He places all things in His care, marking them for greatness and good works and beloved you and I are a part of that. God took the time to create each of us with a beautiful story one that can only be told by the poet Himself. He marked out our days, formed our being and stretched our faith to limits we couldn’t have imagined. The goodness of God has been so many things to so many of us, such as: 

·       To see a loved one give their life to Christ.

·       To meet that goal after so many failed attempts.

·       To receive the keys to your brand-new home or car.

·       For family to be reconciled with one another again.

·       For a lost child to be found and return to their family.

·       For a loved one to be received into glory and be held in the arms of the Father.

·       For triumph over every addiction, stronghold or bondage in our lives.

·       To see the visions the Lord gives us come to pass.

·       To see God turn the hearts of nation to Himself.

·       To have every need meet and lack nothing because our Provider has set it up that way.

·       To see the plan of God unfold right before your eyes.

·       To live in what once was a prayerful petition before the Lord.

Beloved the list can go on and on, though I may have stopped there I pray that you continue to recount the goodness of the Lord in your hearts and minds. As you walk through life, be watchful, let your ears be quick to listen… GOD IS MOVING… don’t miss it. God desires us to see Him, to know Him and ultimately to experience Him beyond our greatest imaginations. The works that God will do for His children and the lengths that He will go for us is unmeasured. The word says in Isaiah 64:4-5 how He delights in those who do good and follow godly ways. Let the love, goodness and truth of God shine in your lives so that those around you may feel the rays of the light within you – Jesus! Of course, there are parts of God’s plan that do not always make sense to us or feel right. There are times when where in the trenches, in the storms of life, in the darkness and we become gripped with fear and inadequacy but then… we hear our Father’s voice calling out to us: “Do not be afraid, it is I”. Immediately hope enters, the clouds begin to shift, and the Lord turns things in our favor. God knows that as we have walked this road to His greatness that it hasn’t been always easy, but He takes joy in knowing that you have stayed the course; that you have trusted Him with your plans, dreams and your life.

 When you came down long ago, you did awesome deeds beyond our highest expectations.    And oh, how the mountains quaked!⁴ For since the world began, no ear has heard and no eye has seen a God like you, who works for those who wait for him!⁵ You welcome those who gladly do good, who follow godly ways.

Brothers and Sisters, let us leave a legacy for those coming after us, let His glory be known throughout the earth and man. As we meditate on 1 Corinthians 2:9 let us make room for the works of God’s hands, as He walks upon the earth and as He dwells in the presence of His people right here and right now to open a life and world, we have yet to experience. Let His will be done in you, taking you beyond your imagination from glory to glory. Let us have great expectations for what He will do next. You are loved.

Hermanos y Hermanas, servimos a un Dios grande, ¿verdad? Nuestro Dios es maravilloso y ha hecho cosas maravillosas; cosas demasiado grandes para que nuestra mente las conciba o nuestro corazón las exprese. Nuestros oídos resuenan con testimonios de toda la tierra y nuestros ojos se llenan de lágrimas al ver la mano de Dios obrar entre su pueblo. La mera existencia de nuestro Dios hace temblar la tierra, el sonido de su voz mueve montañas y el toque de su dedo graba su Palabra en nuestros corazones. Nuestro Dios es poderoso y glorioso; su amor no vacila. Su bondad hacia quienes le aman jamás falla, pues Él los sostiene y los afirma en todos sus caminos. Sus pies están firmemente asentados y ellos están profundamente arraigados en Él. ¡Aleluya!

Dios se tomó su tiempo para preparar su plan maestro, un plan también para ti y para mí. Cuidó cada detalle minuciosamente para no pasar nada por alto; todo está contemplado. Él pone todas las cosas bajo su cuidado, destinándolas a la grandeza y a las buenas obras, y tú y yo —amados suyos— formamos parte de ello. Dios se tomó el tiempo de crear a cada uno de nosotros con una historia hermosa, una historia que solo puede ser narrada por el propio Poeta. Él trazó nuestros días, formó nuestro ser y llevó nuestra fe a límites que jamás hubiéramos imaginado. La bondad de Dios ha significado tantas cosas para tantos de nosotros, tales como:

•            Ver a un ser querido entregar su vida a Cristo.

•            Alcanzar esa meta tras tantos intentos fallidos.

•            Recibir las llaves de tu casa o automóvil nuevos.

•            Que los miembros de la familia se reconcilien entre sí.

•            Que un hijo extraviado sea hallado y regrese con su familia.

•            Que un ser querido sea recibido en gloria y acogido en los brazos del Padre.

•            Triunfar sobre toda adicción, fortaleza o atadura en nuestras vidas.

•            Ver cumplirse las visiones que el Señor nos da.

•            Ver a Dios volver hacia sí el corazón de las naciones.

•            Ver todas nuestras necesidades satisfechas y no carecer de nada, porque así lo ha dispuesto nuestro Proveedor.

•            Ver el plan de Dios desarrollarse ante tus propios ojos.

•            Vivir aquello que alguna vez fue una petición presentada al Señor en oración.

Amados, la lista podría continuar indefinidamente; aunque me haya detenido aquí, oro para que sigan recordando la bondad del Señor en sus corazones y mentes. Al caminar por la vida, manténganse atentos y prontos para escuchar... DIOS SE ESTÁ MOVIENDO... no se lo pierdan. Dios desea que le veamos, que le conozcamos y, en última instancia, que le experimentemos más allá de lo que podamos imaginar. Las obras que Dios realizará por sus hijos y hasta dónde llegará por nosotros son incalculables. La Palabra dice en Isaías 64:4-5 que Él se deleita en aquellos que hacen el bien y siguen caminos de rectitud. Permitan que el amor, la bondad y la verdad de Dios resplandezcan en sus vidas, para que quienes les rodean puedan sentir los rayos de la luz que llevan dentro: ¡Jesús! Por supuesto, hay aspectos del plan de Dios que no siempre nos parecen lógicos o acertados. Hay momentos en los que nos encontramos en medio de la batalla, en las tormentas de la vida y en la oscuridad, sintiéndonos paralizados por el miedo y la sensación de insuficiencia; pero entonces... escuchamos la voz de nuestro Padre llamándonos: «No temas, soy yo». De inmediato surge la esperanza, las nubes comienzan a disiparse y el Señor torna las cosas a nuestro favor. Dios sabe que el camino hacia Su grandeza no siempre ha sido fácil, pero se goza al ver que han perseverado; que han confiado a Él sus planes, sus sueños y su vida.

³ Cuando descendiste hace mucho tiempo,    hiciste obras temibles, por encima de nuestras mayores expectativas.    ¡Y cómo temblaron los montes! ⁴ Desde el principio del mundo,    ningún oído ha escuchado, ni ojo ha visto a un Dios como tú,    quien actúa a favor de los que esperan en él. ⁵ Tú recibes a quienes hacen el bien con gusto,    a quienes siguen caminos de justicia. Pero has estado muy enojado con nosotros,    porque no somos justos. Pecamos constantemente;

¿cómo es posible que personas como nosotros se salven?

Hermanos y Hermanas, dejemos un legado para quienes nos sigan; que Su gloria sea conocida en toda la tierra y entre los hombres. Al meditar en 1 Corintios 2:9, hagamos lugar a las obras de las manos de Dios mientras Él camina sobre la tierra y habita en la presencia de Su pueblo —aquí y ahora— para abrir una vida y un mundo que aún no hemos experimentado. Que se haga Su voluntad en ustedes, llevándolos más allá de lo que pueden imaginar, de gloria en gloria. Tengamos grandes expectativas por lo que Él hará a continuación. Eres amados.
