Enlighten My Heart Lord

17. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. 18 .I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, 19. and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength

20. he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, 21. far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.

The Apostle Paul prayed for believers everywhere, past, present and future believers. That God would give us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation to know the Lord better. That the eyes of our hearts would be enlightened so that we may know the hope to which we have been called. The Holy Spirit enlightened Paul as he wrote this passage, to the deep desire that our heavenly Father has in His heart for all of His children, to "know Him". God doesn't want us to live off of someone else's testimonies, triumphs, accomplishments or breakthroughs. He wanted us to have our own, to know Him on such an intimate level. To explore the many names of God in a way that can only be learned by experience and not just story telling. To live with a hope that crushes every fear. With a revelation that destroys every lie and with wisdom that makes the wise look foolish.

To Enlighten= To give someone greater knowledge and understanding about a subject or situation. To give someone spiritual knowledge or insight.

God's heart has been rooting for us all along brothers and sisters. He has been calling to us and drawing us near. He doesn't want a long distance relationship, He wants you to know Him. Take a walk with Him and He will tell you everything you need to know. How He thinks and feels, what pleases Him and what doesn't. He wants to share His life with you and He hopes you will do the same. Our Father in heaven wants to enlighten you to the truth of who He is beyond theology and doctrine. Beyond what you think you know. He wants to bring us to a place of certainty and firmness with Him and not leave us second guessing ourselves. Wondering if we heard Him right, did we please Him today, are we on the right path/ in His will. He wants us to assure us that we are, and knows have ears for His words and His alone.

11. Teach me your way, Lord,

that I may rely on your faithfulness;

give me an undivided heart,

that I may fear your name.

12. I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart;

I will glorify your name forever.

Lord, rightly divide your word in us. Give us a hope that propels us to seek you daily. Jesus, be "the light" and shine in our darkness. Illuminate our Hearts with your truth, and as that light flows in and through us, let your word God be a light unto our path and lamp unto our feet that we might not sin against you. Amen

Brothers and Sisters, God is calling us to sit with Him in the stillness of His Holy Spirit. He wants to give you a fresh anointing, a fresh word and a new song in your heart. Ask Him to teach you His ways and His truth, that your faith and will would line up with His. Meditate on Ephesians 1:17-18 and be encouraged that He knew corruption and dark times would come but He is willing and able to defend you, redeem you and restore you. His name is great and above all dominion and authority. Allow Him to give you greater spiritual and natural insight and knowledge. He has been praying for you, His arm is outstretched, will you get to know Him and be enlightened? You are loved.

Ilumina Mi Corazón Señor

17. Pido que el Dios de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, el Padre glorioso, les dé el Espíritu de sabiduría y de revelación, para que lo conozcan mejor. 18. Pido también que les sean iluminados los ojos del corazón para que sepan a qué esperanza él los ha llamado, cuál es la riqueza de su gloriosa herencia entre pueblo santo, 19. y cuán incomparable es la grandeza de su poder a favor de los que creemos. Ese poder es la fuerza grandiosa y eficaz

20. que Dios ejerció en Cristo cuando lo resucitó de entre los muertos y lo sentó a su derecha en las regiones celestiales, 21. muy por encima de todo gobierno y autoridad, poder y dominio, y de cualquier otro nombre que se invoque, no solo en este mundo, sino también en el venidero.

El Apóstol Pablo oró por los creyentes de todo el mundo, pasados, presentes y futuros. Que Dios nos diera el Espíritu de sabiduría y revelación para conocer mejor al Señor. Que los ojos de nuestro corazón fueran iluminados para que pudiéramos conocer la esperanza a la que hemos sido llamados. El Espíritu Santo iluminó a Pablo al escribir este pasaje, sobre el profundo deseo que nuestro Padre celestial tiene en su corazón para que todos sus hijos lo "conozcan". Dios no quiere que vivamos de los testimonios, triunfos, logros o avances de otros. Él quería que tuviéramos los nuestros, que lo conociéramos a un nivel tan íntimo. Que exploremos los muchos nombres de Dios de una manera que solo se aprende por experiencia y no solo por historias. Que vivamos con una esperanza que aplaste todo temor. Con una revelación que destruya toda mentira y con una sabiduría que haga parecer necio al sabio.

Iluminar = Dar a alguien mayor conocimiento y comprensión sobre un tema o situación. Otorgar a alguien conocimiento o visión espiritual.

El corazón de Dios nos ha estado apoyando desde siempre, hermanos y hermanas. Nos ha estado llamando y acercándonos. No quiere una relación a distancia, quiere que lo conozcas. Camina con Él y te dirá todo lo que necesitas saber. Cómo piensa y siente, qué le agrada y qué no. Quiere compartir su vida contigo y espera que hagas lo mismo. Nuestro Padre celestial quiere iluminarte con la verdad de quién es Él, más allá de la teología y la doctrina. Más allá de lo que crees saber. Quiere llevarnos a un lugar de certeza y firmeza con Él, y no dejarnos dudando de nosotros mismos. Nos preguntamos si lo escuchamos bien, si lo agradamos hoy, si estamos en el camino correcto, en su voluntad. Él quiere que nos aseguremos de que somos, y sabe que tenemos oídos para Sus palabras y solo para Las Suyas.

11. Instrúyeme, Señor, en tu camino

para conducirme con fidelidad.

Dame integridad de corazón

para temer tu nombre.

12. Señor mi Dios, con todo el corazón te alabaré

y por siempre glorificaré tu nombre.

Señor, divide tu palabra en nosotros con rectitud. Danos una esperanza que nos impulse a buscarte a diario. Jesús, sé "la luz" y resplandece en nuestra oscuridad. Ilumina nuestros corazones con tu verdad, y mientras esa luz fluye en nosotros y a través de nosotros, que tu palabra, Dios, sea luz en nuestro camino y lámpara a nuestros pies para que no pequemos contra ti. Amén.

Hermanos y Hermanas, Dios nos llama a sentarnos con Él en la quietud de su Espíritu Santo. Él quiere darles una unción fresca, una palabra fresca y un cántico nuevo en su corazón. Pídele que te enseñe sus caminos y su verdad, para que tu fe y tu voluntad estén en armonía con las suyas. Medita en Efesios 1:17-18 y anímate al saber que Él sabía que vendrían tiempos de corrupción y oscuridad, pero está dispuesto y es capaz de defenderte, redimirte y restaurarte. Su nombre es grande y está por encima de todo dominio y autoridad. Permítele que te dé mayor comprensión y conocimiento espiritual y natural. Él ha estado orando por ti, su brazo está extendido, ¿lo conocerás y recibirás iluminación? Eres amado.
