Beloved, we need to watch what we declare over ourselves, our family and friends. Our words and thoughts have power. The Bible says that in the tongue is life and death (Proverbs 18:21). The Bible also says so a man thinketh so he is (Proverbs 23:7).
A lot of us are walking around claiming things over our mind and body, giving them power in our lives that they should not have. Take this example- you go to the doctor for stomach pains. You are thinking it is something you ate. The doctor comes back with the report, he says you have the big "C".... that's right, you have cancer. Most of us, if not all of us, would be devastated in that moment. Associating cancer with death, we could see our lives flash before our eyes. Now that is not to say that has not been the outcome at times, but that is not what I want to focus on.
Many, after that moment will begin to go around telling those they love, family, friends, co-workers, brothers and sisters in Christ..... "I have cancer". They begin to speak and claim this sickness over their life. Now cancer is a very real thing and so are the effects of it, please do not misunderstand me. But, brothers and sisters we do not need to claim it and declare it over our lives. When we begin to speak these things over our lives, we begin to submit to them and their demands. A lot of it, is said and done unconsciously. Instead of saying "I have cancer, we can say, the doctor says it is cancer but I say I am healed in the name of Jesus". The Bible says by His stripes I am healed (Isaiah 53:5), Jesus bore 39 lashes on His back for our healing weather physical, spiritual, emotional, or mental etc. God's name is Jehovah Rapha- My Healer. We can see by this that there is no sickness in Him, and as children of God, sickness has no power over us. Does that mean you do not go to the doctor or take care of yourself? no it does not. God has blessed men and women in the medical field with wisdom to care for those around them, but our trust is not in them or what they can do but in God. Trust the caregivers God gives you, take whatever advice they give you and bring it back to your maker. Ask the Lord to clarify what you should do. God knows you better than anyone else, He set your birthdate into motion and He signed your death date, He knows you.
I need you to remember that every time we say things like "I am this, I am that" or "I have this or that" we are invoking the name of God over those things. He is "I am" and when we invoke His name to things that are not of God, we remove the power of the Holy Spirit from those circumstances.
The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10) but God came to set us free. Do not be held captive by what the enemy tries to throw at you or what spirit he may try to attach to you. Declare war on the enemy and the things of him. Let us line our words up with The Word of God and speak life over our lives, claim victory in our circumstances, and declare the promises of God! So when the enemy says things like:
⦁ You will not amount to anything, declare I am prosperous in the name of Jesus.
⦁ You are ugly and no one wants you, declare I am fearfully and wonderfully made, I am the apple of His eye.
⦁ You have Crohn's disease and your life will never be normal, declare I am healed in the name of Jesus and my latter will be greater than the past.
⦁ Take your life no one will miss you anyway, declare God died so that I may have life and life abundantly, I am wanted and worth it.
and so on....
Brothers and sisters we will not go down without a fight. Our weapon on the battlefield is worship. Worship God, claim His promises over your life, and declare "that no weapon formed against me shall prosper." Invoke the name of God His promises, remind Satan "I am a child of God, and you only have the power that He says, nothing more!" You are loved.

Amados, debemos cuidar lo que declaramos sobre nosotros mismos, nuestros familiares y amigos. Nuestras palabras y pensamientos tienen poder. La Biblia dice que en la lengua está la vida y la muerte (Proverbios 18:21). La Biblia también dice que como el hombre piensa así es él (Proverbios 23:7).
Muchos de nosotros andamos por ahí declarando cosas sobre nuestra mente y nuestro cuerpo, dándoles un poder en nuestras vidas que no deberían tener. Tomemos este ejemplo: vas al médico por dolores de estómago. Estás pensando que es algo que comiste. El médico regresa con los resultados, dice que tienes la "C" mayúscula... así es, tienes cáncer. La mayoría de nosotros, si no todos, estaríamos devastados en ese momento. Al asociar el cáncer con la muerte, vemos nuestras vidas pasar ante nuestros ojos. Eso no quiere decir que en ocasiones ese no haya sido el resultado, pero no es en eso en lo que quiero centrarme.
Muchos, después de ese momento comenzarán a decirles a sus seres queridos, familiares, amigos, compañeros de trabajo, hermanos y hermanas en Cristo….. “Tengo cáncer”. Comienzan a hablar y a declarar esta enfermedad sobre su vida. Ahora bien, el cáncer es algo muy real y también lo son sus efectos. Por favor, no me malinterpreten. Pero, hermanos y hermanas, no necesitamos reclamarlo y declararlo sobre nuestras vidas. Cuando comenzamos a hablar de estas cosas en nuestras vidas, comenzamos a someternos a ellas y a sus demandas. Mucho de esto se dice y se hace inconscientemente. En lugar de decir "tengo cáncer, podemos decir, el médico dice que es cáncer pero yo digo que estoy sano en el nombre de Jesús". La Biblia dice que por sus llagas soy sanado (Isaías 53:5), Jesús llevó 39 llagas en su espalda para nuestra curación física, espiritual, emocional o mental, etc. El nombre de Dios es Jehová Rapha-Mi Sanador. Podemos ver con esto que no hay enfermedad en Él y, como hijos de Dios, la enfermedad no tiene poder sobre nosotros. ¿Eso no significa que no vas al médico ni te cuidas? No, no es así. Dios ha bendecido a hombres y mujeres en el campo de salud con sabiduría para cuidar de quienes los rodean, pero nuestra confianza no está en ellos ni en lo que pueden hacer sino en Dios. Confía en los cuidadores que Dios te da, sigue cualquier consejo que te den y tráelos a tu creador. Pídele al Señor que te aclare lo que debes hacer. Dios te conoce mejor que nadie, Él puso en marcha tu fecha de nacimiento y firmó tu fecha de muerte, Él te conoce.
Necesito que recuerdes que cada vez que decimos cosas como "soy esto, soy aquello" o "tengo esto o aquello" estamos invocando el nombre de Dios sobre esas cosas. Él es "Yo soy" y cuando invocamos Su nombre ante cosas que no son de Dios, quitamos el poder del Espíritu Santo de esas circunstancias.
El enemigo viene a robar, matar y destruir (Juan 10:10) pero Dios vino a liberarnos. No os dejéis cautivar por lo que el enemigo intenta lanzarnos, ni permitas que el espiritu maligno que el envia a nuestras vidas nos cautive. Declara la guerra al enemigo. ¡Alineemos nuestras palabras con La Palabra de Dios y hablemos vida sobre nuestras vidas, reclamemos la victoria en nuestras circunstancias y declaremos las promesas de Dios! Entonces cuando el enemigo dice cosas como:
⦁ No llegarás a nada, declara que soy próspero en el nombre de Jesús.
⦁ Eres feo y nadie te quiere, declara que soy admirable y maravillosamente hecho, soy la niña de sus ojos.
⦁ Tienes la enfermedad del Crohn y tu vida nunca será normal, declara que estoy sano en el nombre de Jesús y que tu vida será mejor que el pasado.
⦁ Termina tu vida, de todos modos nadie te extrañará, declara que Dios murió para que yo tenga vida y vida en abundancia, soy querido y valgo la pena.
etcétera....
Hermanos y hermanas, no caeremos sin luchar. Nuestra arma en el campo de batalla es la adoración. Adora a Dios, reclama sus promesas sobre tu vida y declara "que ningún arma forjada contra mí prosperará." Invoca el nombre de Dios Sus promesas, recuérdale a Satanás "Soy un hijo de Dios, y tú sólo tienes el poder que Él dice, ¡nada más!" Eres amado.
