Gather Your Harvest

Hello my beloved brothers and sisters. The Lord recently shared/revealed this to me and you know I just had to share it with you guys!

Do you ever feel like you are going from planting to seed time back again to planting and seed time but never really reap a harvest? The other day as a I was reading a devotional, I came across a sentence that read: gathering the harvest. The word gathered caught my attention. I mean... we have heard many times about sowing and reaping or you reap what you sow. We have read countless times of the harvest that God provides but this particular day it hit me differently. I often thought of reaping a harvest as the reward to hard work or a trying process that God has put us through. That in and of itself is not to far off but to gather requires something from us and that is what I want to focus on.

So Naomi returned from Moab accompanied by Ruth the Moabite, her daughter-in-law, arriving in Bethlehem as the barley harvest was beginning. And Ruth the Moabite said to Naomi, “Let me go to the fields and pick up the leftovers"; So she went out, entered a field and began to glean behind the harvesters.-

Imagine yourself in a beautiful orchard field. It is spring, and all the trees are full of fruit, ready to be picked. They look sooooo delicious, your mouth begins to water, lol. Okay, let's reel it back a little. As you walk through that beautiful orchard field, looking around, you are not sure where to start. Some of us get like this during our harvest season. Some of us are so familiar with God showing us what He is going to do or work on in us (planting of the seed) and then going through that process (seed time- growing the seed) but we are very unfamiliar with the harvest. Like those fruit trees we just mentioned full, ripe, ready for picking fruit, will rot if left on the branches. Look at this lesson from Ruth, her and Naomi went back to Bethlehem just when the harvest came in but the only way they would benefit from that harvest was to "Gather". Ruth made a decision that she was not just going to look at the harvest that the Lord had provided, she was going to gather it. Ruth's decision to act provided for her mother-in-law and herself, as well as opening doors for her future.

Brother and Sisters, how many harvest seasons have we gone through and left the fruit on the branches. How many times have we complained to God of when we will see our reward. How many of us still believe we are in a process that ended long ago but we never gathered our harvest. Beloved, it is time to glean, time to go get our harvest that the Lord has provided. Let's not let another season of our lives pass us by without collecting what we have sown. Often times we are familiar with this formula sowing (seed)+ growing (seed time)= harvest but the Lord has shown me sowing (seed)+ growing (seed time)+ harvest= gathering the blessings of the Lord! There is no limit to the amount one can glean from what the Lord has done in and through us! May your harvest be plentiful. You are loved.

Recoge Tu Cosecha

Hola, mis queridos hermanos y hermanas. El Señor me reveló esto recientemente y ¡Sabía que tenía que compartirlo con ustedes!

¿Alguna vez sienten que pasan de sembrar a sementera y empezar de nuevo, pero nunca cosechan? El otro día, leyendo un devocional, me encontré con una frase que decía: "recoger la cosecha". La palabra "recoger" me llamó la atención. Es decir... hemos escuchado muchas veces sobre sembrar y cosechar, o que cosechas lo que siembras. Hemos leído innumerables veces sobre la cosecha que Dios provee, pero este día en particular me impactó de una manera diferente. A menudo pensaba en cosechar como la recompensa al trabajo duro o un proceso difícil por el que Dios nos ha hecho pasar. Eso en sí mismo no está tan lejos, pero recoger requiere algo de nosotros, y en eso quiero enfocarme.

Así fue como Noemí volvió de la tierra de Moab acompañada por su nuera, Rut la moabita. Cuando llegaron a Belén, comenzaba la cosecha de cebada. Y sucedió que Rut, la moabita, dijo a Noemí: "Permíteme ir al campo a recoger las espigas"; Rut salió y comenzó a recoger espigas en el campo, detrás de los segadores.-

Imagínate en un hermoso campo de huerto. Es la primavera y todos los árboles están llenos de fruta, listos para ser recogidos. Se ven tan deliciosas que se te hace agua la boca, jaja. Bueno, retrocedamos un poco. Mientras caminas por ese hermoso campo de huerto, mirando a tu alrededor, no sabes por dónde empezar. Algunos nos ponemos así durante la temporada de cosecha. Algunos estamos tan familiarizados con Dios mostrándonos lo que va a hacer o en lo que va a obrar en nosotros (sembrar la semilla) y luego pasando por ese proceso (la época de la siembra, el crecimiento de la semilla), pero no estamos muy familiarizados con la cosecha. Como esos árboles frutales que acabamos de mencionar, llenos de fruta madura, lista para ser cosechada, que se pudrirán si se dejan en las ramas. Observen esta lección de Rut: ella y Noemí regresaron a Belén justo cuando llegaba la cosecha, pero la única manera de beneficiarse de ella era "Recoger". Rut decidió que no solo miraría la cosecha que el Señor había provisto, sino que la recogería. Su decisión de actuar proveyó para su suegra y para ella misma, además de abrirle puertas para el futuro.

Hermanos y Hermanas, ¿cuántas cosechas hemos pasado y hemos dejado el fruto en las ramas? ¿Cuántas veces nos hemos quejado a Dios de cuándo veremos nuestra recompensa? ¿Cuántos de nosotros todavía creemos que estamos en un proceso que terminó hace mucho tiempo, pero nunca recogimos nuestra cosecha? Amados, es tiempo de espigar, tiempo de ir a buscar la cosecha que el Señor nos ha provisto. No dejemos pasar otra etapa de nuestras vidas sin recoger lo que hemos sembrado. A menudo estamos familiarizados con esta fórmula: sembrar (semilla) + crecer (sementera) = cosecha, pero el Señor me ha mostrada que sembrar (semilla) + crecer (sementera) + cosecha = ¡recogiendo las bendiciones del Señor! ¡No hay límite para lo que uno puede aprender de lo que el Señor ha hecho en nosotros y a través de nosotros! Que tu cosecha sea abundante. Eres amado.
